Rejuvination Treatment is a holistic Ayurvedic therapy designed to promote health in both the mind and the body. It works by slowing down the ageing process, speeding up tissue repair, increasing vitality, enhancing digestion, and strengthening the immune system — restoring your body to its natural state of youthful wellness.
Known in Ayurveda as Rasayana Chikitsa, Rejuvination Treatment is one of the eight classical branches of Ayurvedic medicine. Rasayana literally means "the path of essence" — therapies that nourish, rebuild, and revitalise every cell and tissue in the body. This treatment is not merely about anti-ageing; it is a comprehensive programme that works at the deepest level of the body's physiology to restore optimal function of all organs and systems. Through a carefully selected combination of medicated oils, herbal formulations, therapeutic massages, dietary guidelines, and lifestyle practices, Rejuvination Treatment replenishes vital energy (Ojas), improves memory and cognitive function, enhances the complexion, and builds long-lasting immunity. At Ayush Ayurveda, our Rejuvination programmes are fully customised based on the individual's age, Prakriti, and current health status.
The treatment begins with a thorough Ayurvedic consultation to assess your Prakriti, current health condition, age, and wellness goals. Based on this evaluation, a fully personalised Rejuvination programme is designed specifically for you.
Medicated ghee and oils are administered internally and applied externally through therapeutic massage (Abhyanga). This deep oleation nourishes all seven body tissues (Dhatus), lubricates the joints, softens the skin, and prepares the body for deeper rejuvination therapies.
Herbal steam treatments open the body's channels, improve circulation, and enhance the absorption of nourishing herbal formulations into the deep tissues. Swedana promotes sweating, which further aids in the elimination of toxins and metabolic waste from the body.
Classical Ayurvedic Rasayana formulations — such as Chyawanprash, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Amalaki, and other potent herbs — are prescribed based on the individual's specific needs. These medicines work at the cellular level to nourish tissues, build Ojas, and restore youthful vitality.
A specific Rasayana diet rich in nourishing, easily digestible foods is recommended alongside daily routine (Dinacharya) practices including yoga, pranayama, and meditation. Regular follow-up sessions monitor progress and adjust the programme to ensure complete and lasting rejuvination.
